Referring to your Despatch No. 242 of the 15th.

September, I have the honour to state that the firm of Messrs.

Bume and Reif was in the first instance put into liquidation, Messrs. Gibb Livingston and Comp my being appointed liquidators, but after the issue to lir. B. Reif of a licence to trade, reported

in my Confidential Despatch of the 28th. December, 1914, the

liquidation was terminated, and the business has since been carried

on by kir. Bonnar, partner in Hesers. Gibb, Livingston and Company,

under Power of Attorney from Er. Reif.

The reference to the "Ordinance" in the latter

of the 2nd. July, 1915, from Messrs. George Richardson and Company, Limited, should be a reference to the first latter of

instructions sent to the liquidators. The reference to "ur. Bune"

in their letter of the 7th. September should be a reference to br.

Reif.
